A Super Tasty (and Chocolatey) Dessert

When you are looking for a small chocolate dessert for aparty, a weekend treat, or a special occasion - this chocolate dessert is worth the calories. SO tasty!




Ingredients


  1. 1 C all-purpose flour

  2. 1 C sugar

  3. 1/2 c cocoa powder

  4. 1 tsp. baking powder

  5. 1/2 tsp. baking soda

  6. 1/2 tsp. salt

  7. 1 lrg egg

  8. 1/2 c buttermilk

  9. 1/2 c vegt. oil

  10. 1 tsp. vanilla ( extract)

  11. 1/2 c very hot water

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. You will use line a cupcake pan with the paper liners.

  2. Combine the dry ingredients from flour to salt together in a bowl ( you can use the stand mixer or whisk it together).

  3. Combine the wet ingredients: egg to vanilla in another bowl

  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and you can mix it together by using a stand mixer until combined.

  5. You can add the hot water to the batter and mix it again. You will need to scrape the sides of the bowl throughout until combined. It is okay if your batter is thin.

  6. To fill up the cupcake: it has to be only 1/2 full, and bake it for 18-21 mins. Test the cupcake by either using a toothpick or knives.

  7. Cool before your frost - and enjoy!
